How Does Live Betting Work?
Live betting (in-play betting) means betting after kick-off while the match is still going on. Odds update constantly based on the score, time remaining and how the game is going. In the Sorosbet live section you can follow ongoing matches, live odds and match stats on one screen.
How to Bet Live
- Open the Live tab in the sportsbook.
- Pick an ongoing match; the score, minute and stats appear on the match page.
- Choose a market (e.g. next goal, match result, over/under) and odds; it's added to your bet slip.
- Enter your stake and confirm. If the odds changed meanwhile, you may be asked to accept the new price.
Why Do Live Odds Change?
Pre-match odds reflect only team strength. In-play, every event — goals, red cards, injuries, possession, time remaining — shifts the probabilities. In a match still at 0-0, for example, "Over 2.5" odds rise and "Under 2.5" odds fall as the minutes tick by.
Why Do Markets Close?
Around goals, penalties, VAR reviews or dangerous attacks, markets are suspended for a few seconds so nobody can bet on an outcome that's already decided. A short acceptance delay on live bets is normal for the same reason.
Cash Out
On some bets you may be offered the option to settle your bet early at its current value. The Cash Out amount is based on your bet's chance of winning at that moment and is usually lower than the potential return. It isn't available on every market or bet.
Popular Live Markets
- Next goal: Which team scores next, or no more goals.
- Rest of match: Who scores more in the remaining time, as if the score were reset.
- Live over/under: Whether total goals end above or below a line.
- Corners and cards: Markets on total corners or bookings.
Things to Keep in Mind
- Live betting is fast; set a budget before the match to avoid snap decisions.
- Don't try to "rescue" a losing bet with more bets on the same match.
